All Friends associated with Claverham were sad to learn of the death of Richard Clark on the 4th May 2026, a few days before his 89th birthday. Richard and his father Bancroft were instrumental in saving Claverham Meeting House from being sold. They initiated the setting up of the Claverham Meeting House Trust in 1995 with resources to manage  and maintain the property. The significant modernisation was Richard's initiative and put in action by his relative, architect Caroline Gould. The Management Committee benefited from Richard's advice and support throughout the years.
